Bali Hotels Association Australian Roadshow Wraps Up with Resounding Success

Bali, Indonesia - March 26, 2024 - The Bali Hotels Association (BHA) is thrilled to announce the triumphant conclusion of its Australian Roadshow, a dynamic event that showcased the finest offerings from Bali, Nusa Penida, Lombok, and Komodo, Labuan Bajo. The roadshow, which spanned four cities and welcomed over 180 agents, garnered enthusiastic praise from attendees and participants alike. This year’s theme, "Bali, A Destination Like No Other: Where Genuine Smiles Meet Heritage, Culture, and Sustainability."

The roadshow featured 19 delegates representing 26 esteemed hotels and resorts, who embarked on a journey spanning 12,000 kilometers to engage with travel agents in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, and Adelaide. Amidst the bustling itinerary, the event maintained a vibrant atmosphere, with delegates and agents alike immersed in the allure of Bali's hospitality.

Attendees were particularly enamored with the thoughtful touch of Bali notebooks, adding a personalized flair to the proceedings. The format of concise presentations proved to be a resounding success, allowing for efficient communication of the diverse offerings from participating properties.

Throughout the roadshow, a staggering 82 speeches were delivered, underscoring the depth and breadth of Bali's tourism industry. Additionally, countless vouchers were distributed, offering agents tantalizing glimpses into the luxurious experiences awaiting their clients in Bali and Beyond.

Batik Air, a proud partner of the event, generously provided two free tickets, adding an extra layer of excitement for attendees. Despite the extensive travel, there were no reports of lost luggage, though one unfortunate delegate lost their voice amidst the fervor of presentations and interactions.

Highlighting the significance of the roadshow, John TG Nielsen, General Manager of Fivelements Retreat, remarked, "The roadshow created excitement and highlights Bali's great attraction and the amazing products on offer." His sentiment was echoed by Wayan Warta, General Manager of Amadea Resort & Villas, who lauded the event as a crucial platform for strengthening Bali's position as a leading holiday destination for Australians.

Joel Bartlett, General Manager of Mamaka By Ovolo, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to engage with travel agents across multiple cities, noting the overwhelmingly positive response to their properties. Bartlett affirmed, "We're excited about the business opportunities generated from this sales trip and look forward to continued success and fruitful partnerships ahead."

The excitement of the roadshow even permeated into the monthly BHA Members meeting, with a live feed from Adelaide filling both rooms with palpable energy.

Zach Holtman, Director of Sales and Marketing at the Bali Dynasty Resort, shared his enthusiasm about attending the BHA Australian roadshow for the third time since the pandemic began. He expressed his appreciation to the BHA team for organizing a successful and seamless event, indicating that each time has been better than the last. Holtman also conveyed anticipation for future events, indicating a positive outlook for ongoing participation in such gatherings.

Bali Hotels Association’s Executive Director Diah Ajung adds, “BHA is committed to facilitating its hotel members' opportunity to open, create, and build relationships with travel partners in Australia through fun and educational events showcasing what Bali has to offer. The Roadshow included Adelaide in this year’s event as BHA saw opportunities for its members to expand their market and open relationships to agents located in Adelaide. The vibes and excitement of agents attending the BHA Roadshow were refreshing. BHA brought a wider variety of hotel locations joining the Roadshow this time by including beyond Bali and Nusa Penida which sparked interest in the travel partners attended.”

Bali continues to shine as a premier destination with Travel Agents at the helm. In an era dominated by digital solutions, travelers still turn to trusted travel agents for personalized recommendations, insider knowledge, and seamless arrangements. These professionals serve as invaluable allies, navigating the complexities of travel logistics and ensuring every aspect of the journey is meticulously planned. Our partnership with travel agents is integral to our mission of providing unparalleled experiences in Bali. Their expertise not only simplifies the planning process but also adds a layer of authenticity and depth to our guests' experiences.

The Bali Hotels Association extends heartfelt appreciation to all participants, sponsors, and attendees for their unwavering support, contributing to the resounding success of the Australian Roadshow.
