Statement of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the Arrivals / Traveler Policy Regarding Covid-19
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated that the policy for migrants / travelers from China is still in force, until changes are made according to developments.
The policy for RRT travelers / travelers applies in accordance with the statement of the Indonesian Foreign Minister on February 2, 2020 and Minister of Law and Human Rights Regulation No. 7 of 2020 concerning Granting of Visas and Residence Permits in the Prevention of Corona Virus Entry which was officially set by the government on February 28, 2020.
In addition to the PRC, the Government has adopted a policy towards migrants / travelers from three other countries namely Iran, Italy and South Korea according to the statement of the Indonesian Foreign Minister on March 5, 2020.
All policies, both for the PRC and for Iran, Italy and South Korea, will apply until an announcement is made.

Indonesian Government Policy Regarding Development of COVID-19
Indonesia continues to monitor reports on the development of the COVID-19 virus in the world released by WHO.
According to the latest WHO report, there is currently a significant increase in COVID-19 cases outside China, especially in three countries namely Iran, Italy and South Korea.
Therefore, for the sake of all, for the time being, Indonesia adopted a new policy for migrants and travelers as follows:
First, the prohibition of entry and transit to Indonesia , for migrants / travelers who in the last 14 days traveled in the regions, as follows:
For Iran: Tehran, Qom, Gilan
For Italy: the Lombardi, Veneto, Emilia Romagna, Marche and Piedmont regions
For South Korea: Daegu City and Gyeongsangbuk-do Province.
Second, for all migrants / travelers from Iran, Italy and South Korea outside the region, necessary health certificate / health certificate issued by the competent health authorities in each country. The certificate must be valid (still valid) and must be shown to the airline at check-in .
Without a health certificate and the competent health authorities, the migrants / travelers will be denied entry / transit in Indonesia.
Third , before landing, migrants / travelers from these three countries, must fill out the Health Alert Card (Health Alert) prepared by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia.
The card includes questions about travel history. If from the travel history, the person concerned has traveled within the last 14 days to one of the areas we mentioned earlier, the person will be refused entry / transit in Indonesia.
Fourth , for Indonesian citizens who have traveled from the three countries, especially from the regions that I mentioned earlier , an additional health check will be conducted at the arrival airport .
4. This policy will take effect on Sunday 8 March 00.00 WIB.
