with Bali Hotels Association Scholarship Program
Bali Hotels Association initiated the Scholarship Program since 2002 with the following missions:
1. Provide opportunities for Bali’s young generation to achieve higher education especially for those
who have intellectual but limited financial supports.
2. As Tourism Destination, all scholars are expected to be qualified hosts in Bali by attending and
finalizing study in STP Nusa Dua.
3. Our main supporter is INSPIRASIA FOUNDATION (formerly Annika Linden Foundation).
4. Up to academic year 2014-2015 we have 116 scholars from unfortunate families in BHA members
and 25% of all have graduated and work in BHA hotel members.
We believe our contribution on this program will be a base and motivation for Program sustainability.
Funding will be provided by two means:
100% funded by Inspirasia Foundation & Yayasan Casa Grande on behalf of the late Ketut Tantri; coordinated by BHA’s Education & Training Committee.
50% funded by the above foundations and 50% offered to be funded by hotel sponsor should there be potential candidates who did not make the initial selection and means test process; also will be coordinated by BHA’s Education & Training Committee.
Scholarships for school year beginning Mid July will only apply to 1st year students, at maximum 20 best students who pass selection and means test.
The Scholarship will include:
- All School Fees.
- Direct Incidental Costs
