BHA Wraps Up Successful 2025 Australia Roadshow

The Bali Hotels Association (BHA) has successfully concluded its 2025 Australia Roadshow, themed “Bali, Your Way: Experience, Explore, Embrace.” The campaign celebrated the personalized and diverse experiences that continue to make Bali a top destination for Australian travelers.
Covering five key cities, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, the roadshow brought together 25 of Bali’s leading hotels and resorts with over 265 Australian travel agents through a series of B2B destination presentations and networking sessions.
The initiative provided an invaluable opportunity to reconnect, share new updates, and strengthen the long-standing relationship between Bali’s hospitality community and the Australian travel trade.
AUSTRALIAN VISITORS CONTINUE TO LEAD IN 2025
From January to August 2025, 1,063,514 Australians visited Bali, accounting for 22.8% of total international arrivals. In the same period, Bali welcomed 4,662,720 international tourists, reflecting a 12.2% year-on-year growth compared to 2024.
With Australia maintaining its position as Bali’s dominant inbound market and based on current monthly averages, full-year arrivals are projected to reach between 1.5 and 1.6 million Australian visitors by the end of 2025, marking one of the strongest recoveries in regional tourism since the pandemic.
The roadshow was proudly supported by Batik Air and Garuda Indonesia, both of which contributed to the lively atmosphere with exciting giveaways and prizes.
“The response from Australian travel agents has been incredibly positive,” said Diah Ajung, Executive Director of the Bali Hotels Association. “Through our theme ‘Bali, Your Way – Experience, Explore, Embrace,’ we wanted to showcase the island’s diversity, where every traveler can create their own Bali story, whether that means wellness, adventure, culture, or luxury.”
Australian travel agents were also pleased for the opportunity to connect directly with hotel partners. “It’s been wonderful to connect directly with our Bali hotel partners,” shared one Melbourne-based travel consultant. “Hearing about new resorts and initiatives firsthand helps us better inspire our clients — and there’s so much excitement about Bali.”
Participating hotels echoed that sentiment: “The ‘Bali Your Way’ message truly resonated,” noted one resort sales director. “Agents were eager for updates and genuinely motivated to sell Bali, it’s a fantastic sign for 2026.”
The BHA Roadshow brought together hospitality professionals and travel partners from across the region, celebrating the spirit of collaboration and shared commitment to Bali’s tourism excellence. “The BHA Roadshow was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with our Australian partners and share the unique charm and experiences that make Trans Hotel Group so special,” said General Manager Alexander Jovanovic. “We’re proud to continue supporting the Bali Hotels Association in showcasing Bali’s beauty to the world and promoting a more sustainable future for tourism.”
As the roadshow concluded in Brisbane, BHA celebrated renewed collaboration and optimism across the tourism community, paving the way for a vibrant year ahead for Bali travel.
The BHA 2025 Australia Roadshow reaffirmed Bali’s position as a world-class, welcoming, and ever-evolving destination, while underscoring the enduring strength of the Bali–Australia travel partnership.
