Coordination Meeting on the Optimization of Regulation and Supervision of the Accommodation Sector

Bali Hotels Association (BHA) represents a collective of star-rated hotels and resorts in Bali, comprising General Managers from 163 member properties, which together offer over 26,020 rooms and employ nearly 31,523 professionals across the island’s tourism sector.
As part of our commitment to representing members' interests, BHA continues to engage with key tourism stakeholders to address pressing challenges and advocate for sustainable growth of Bali’s tourism sector. Our focus areas include driving necessary infrastructure improvements, pushing for stricter regulations on illegal accommodations and unplanned developments, promoting sustainability initiatives focused on waste management and environmental protection, and supporting balanced policies that ensure both economic growth and social and environmental responsibility.
Representing our membership, Chairman Franklyn Kocek participated in the Coordination Meeting on the Optimization of Regulation and Supervision of the Accommodation Sector in the Province of Bali. During the meeting, BHA presented concerns raised by members — based on feedback from our recent survey — regarding the rise of unlicensed accommodation providers. We reiterated our collective commitment to supporting initiatives and policies that protect Bali’s long-term sustainability, cultural heritage, and responsible tourism development.
“Bali Hotels Association and its members are dedicated to ensuring that every guest experience supports Bali’s cultural heritage while advancing the island’s economic and environmental sustainability goals.”
Thank you for your continued support and active engagement as we work together to uphold the standards and future of Bali’s tourism industry.
