Based on The Department of Geology, Mt. Agung observation post, the status of Mt. Agung today 21st September 2017 remains on level III (alert).
There is no visualization of crater smoke, the crater was observed clear but a bit hazy.
Seismic activity is dominated with deep and shallow volcanic earthquake.
The government recommends the communities around mount Agung and climbers / visitors / tourists are expected to absent from activities such as climbing and camping inside the mount Agung crater area and in all areas within a 6 km radius of the top crater or at elevations above 950 m from sea level and added sectoral expansion to the North, Southeast and South-Southwest for 7.5 km
